Huion soutient gĂ©nĂ©reusement la JournĂ©e de la LibertĂ© des Logiciels (SFD) 2024 en offrant un Kamvas 12 Pro comme prix principal et deux tablettes Inspiroy H950P pour les finalistes dans un dĂ©fi graphique. Ce dĂ©fi invite des participants du monde entier Ă crĂ©er des Ćuvres d'art originales en utilisant des logiciels libres et open source (FOSS) sur le thĂšme de l'autonomie et de la libertĂ© numĂ©riques. Les Ćuvres doivent ĂȘtre soumises avant le 17 octobre 2024 et respecter des lignes directrices spĂ©cifiques, y compris l'utilisation exclusive d'outils FOSS et le partage des fichiers sources sous des licences Creative Commons.

Love, Learning, and Libre: A Decade of Free Software Advocacy in Colombia
It all started out of my curiosity, as I began to research operating systems. So, I took the liberty of contacting the people who were talking about free software in Bogotå, Colombia. One of the few that wanted to talk about this was Professor Luis Eduardo Cano. That day, he arrived at the cafeteria with a friend and Professor Luis Alejandro Bernal. We had a great afternoon, drank coffee and ate cake, and talked for hours. At the end they invited me to visit the free software community, which at that time did not even have a physical location, as we met in downtown Bogotå at a café-bar.
