We, some professionals from different sectors had joined together and formed FOSS Bangladesh to promote free software and spread out the knowledge about digital freedom. All the Executive members are serving this organization voluntary and managing the legal, communication and financial matters abide by the country law where FOSS Bangladesh is registered as a non-profit, voluntary organization. We run by the volunteers with us and they are helping in various organizational activities. Each and everyone of these people are working totally voluntary and they are continuing this for their love, dedication and passion for an IT enabled, free, happy and prosperous Bangladesh.

Celebration plan 'Software Freedom Day - 2023'

[Bangladesh] and [Association, ICT, MBSTU] made a plan to jointly celebrate the 'Software Freedom Day 2023' as the 'সফটওয়্যার মুক্তি দিবস - ২০২৩' with all the freedom lovers here in Bangladesh. All the GNU and Software Freedom lovers from all over Bangladesh are requested to join us and arrange local event in your own area if possible. If needed just let us know [in here]. FOSS Bangladesh volunteers will try to help as possible.

Schedule:

* Starting 20 minutes -- Welcome + Opening Speeches* Public Speech 60 minutes -- Sessions representing the history and  moments, developments information etc. of various Free Software and GNU.* Final 30 minutes -- Video shows representing Software Freedom, FSF and FOSS Bangladesh movements.

GNU/Linux installation and support

Event participants may avail this service ([with a pre-registration]) for their laptop/desktop/notebook at zero price by the FOSS Bangladesh volunteers.
