Established in 2005 by its founder Meric B. Mara, 8Layer Technologies started as an open source Software development and consultancy company that focuses on Autonomic Infrastruction and Telephony solutions. In its inception stage, even as a small start-up company, it has earned the trust and has partnered with the big players in the IT industry to continuously provide better solutions to the Filipinos specifically the local government units and the SMEs.
