Description

Digital security and privacy for beginners! Your computer and your mobile phone leak vital data about you every minute that they are turned on and connected to a network. Your web browser and most apps often function like spyware, some apps are even designed as spyware. It’s up to you to protect your privacy.

We'll be discussing how users can take a proactive approach to security will help them protect their location, communications like texts, other people’s data in their address book, health data, information about the websites they visit and much more.  As a part of our recommendations we will advocate the use of Free Software and explain why it is the better choice in terms of privacy and security.
