About

We at [Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU)], actively promote and use the open-source technologies. Our aim is to let the world know the power of open-source. We know - the more we contribute more, the more we get back. We think sharing of Knowledge, increases it.

We/our team have been contributing to the open-source since last few years by organizing Software Freedom Day in the campus. We invite students from various institutes and organize competitions and interactive sessions for them.

Our team has been consistently increasing its resources to improve SFD every year. More and more students from SMVDU are getting linked in this chain. Like every year , this year also we plan out to come up with something interesting and knowledgeable which could help OPEN SOURCE technologies to flourish even more
