Noakhali Open Source Group

Noakhali Open Source Group formulated by a group of youth peoples from southern part of Bangladesh. There are some young researchers, media people, student, tech personnel, development activist and local government representative. All are working in coastal area of Bangladesh and fighting for a free and fair society. ICT4D is an involvement area of the group and we believe OSS is a strong means to protect corporate globalization.

A civil society organization, [Research & Action Network- PRAN] is moderating the group. At present the group is working for FOSS for nonprofit organization and rural telecentre.
