. BIT Linux User Group is one of the most intellectually promising societies in BIT Mesra that provides support and education for Linux users. We promote Free and Open Source softwares, maintain local repositories of various Linux distros and provide user support for inexperienced users. Our team consist of Google Summer of Code Mentors, Red Hat Certified Engineers, Fedora and openSUSE Ambassadors, Mozilla Reps, OSUM Leaders, hard core technical bloggers and lots of experienced people.We organize workshops, installfests and help try to convert users into contributors. Thanks to Fedora and openSUSE we get to distribute a lot of installation media. We also remaster Linux distors to improve their usability for common people.
