Nuestro objetivo en esta celebración es educar al público mundial sobre los beneficios de utilizar FOSS de alta calidad en la educación, en el gobierno, en el hogar y en los negocios, en resumen, ¡en todas partes! La Fundación para la Libertad Digital coordina el SFD a nivel global, brindando apoyo y un punto de colaboración, pero los equipos voluntarios de todo el mundo organizan los eventos locales del SFD para impactar a sus propias comunidades.
