Greetings from the Executive Council of the College of Computer Studies at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology!

As advocates for technological innovation and education, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming celebration of Software Freedom Day. Our council comprises of driven students all united by a common goal: promoting open-source software and embracing the principles of software freedom. Software Freedom Day allows us to educate our community about the benefits of open-source software.Through fun and engaging activities, interactive talks and sessions, we aim to promote dialogue and awareness about the significance of software freedom. As such, we can inspire a new generation of tech enthusiasts through the world of computer studies.

Software Freedom Day 2023

Activities:

• Simultaneous and parallel symposiums and talks
• Showcase different Linux distributions with installation tutorials
• Play open source games
• SFD-related merchandise
