FreeNix

We are a local LUG remnant who use a community library ICT lab to demonstrate FOSS, help with fresh installs, do presentations on FOSS topics, etc.

SFD acts as our annual special event for promoting 'FreeNix' workshops, held monthly on the first Wednesday night, at the same venue.

We are the only team in New Zealand to have run an event in SFD year one, 2004, and every year since.

Our SFD16 event detail is:

10am to 4pm Saturday,17 September 2016,South Learning Centre PC lab,South Christchurch Library,66 Colombo Street, Cashmere
