### Software Freedom Day (SFD) Celebration at MSU-IIT

In line with the worldwide celebration of **Software Freedom Day (SFD)**, the **Department of Computer Science** at **Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology** is hosting a day-long celebration filled with informative talks and interactive workshops.

Aiming to educate and bring awareness of **Free and Open Source Software (FOSS)**, tech experts and professionals from various industries are invited to share the benefits of FOSS and its glory to the students and faculty of the university.

The celebration shall serve as a platform to encourage the use of free software, promoting collaboration and innovation within the digital realm of the university. The specific venue and schedule of events are to be announced. Follow our society's Facebook page for updates.
